Company Integrates GeoLocation Information to Expand its Fraud Detection Capabilities

ExpectID GeoTrace provides geolocation information and correlates an IP address with the information found on a person during an identity verification check.

ExpectID GeoTrace enhances the analytics of IDology’s identity verification solutions by correlating IP address information with the identity related information found on a consumer during a verification. ExpectID GeoTrace monitors several conditions of an IP address including proxy types, proximity, countries and more. As with IDology’s identity verification solution, ExpectID GeoTrace returns several ID Notes, or fraud flags, when conditions are indicated based on the condition rules an Enterprise has configured within IDology’s IDCenter. The IDCenter functions as an on-demand change management portal that allows clients to manage all aspects of the verification process in real-time.
